Cover picture: Inhibition of CCR5-mediated capping of HIV-1 receptors by the B-oligomer of pertussis toxin. Primary human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were pretreated (middle and left) or not (right) with B-oligomer and inoculated with (top) CCR5- or (bottom) CXCR4-dependent HIV-1 strain. The receptor capping that is characteristic for HIV-1 infection (middle) is inhibited by B-oligomer (left), but only in cells infected with CCR5-dependent virus.
