Cover picture: An extended growth cone morphology with altered cytoskeletal organization in cultured hippocampal neurons from mice with disrupted tau and map1b genes. Microtubules (red) were flared out with a slight tendency toward bundling. F-actin (green) was localized mainly in the filopodia, and not localized in the central microtubule-rich domain.
