Cellular Neurobiology 2024
This collection explores the structures and functions of neurons and glia in both homeostasis and disease pathogenesis. Readers will discover fundamental advances made using cutting-edge experimental systems related to proteolysis of TDP-43, control of network activity by astrocytes, and trans-synaptic signaling at neuromuscular junctions. In addition, work in this collection extends our understanding of axonal transport mechanisms and their defects as well as metabolic contributions to actomyosin contraction, among many other important areas central to neuroscience.
In addition, we are pleased to present a special magazine that contains the abstracts of some of the research articles from this collection, as well as neuroscience research published in other Rockefeller University Press journals. Download the special collection PDF here.
