Instructions for Authors
Journal of Experimental Medicine is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal that publishes both original research as well as reviews and commentary. Manuscripts should be submitted via our online manuscript submission system. Prior to submission, please familiarize yourself with our Editorial Policies and detailed instructions on how to prepare your manuscript for Submitting to JEM.
JEM editorial and staff members are working remotely in line with New York City’s efforts to contain COVID-19. While editorial and publication operations will continue, we apologize in advance for any delay our authors might experience. We encourage email communication during this time.
Furthermore, we are aware that, in an effort to limit the spread of the virus, many labs have chosen to shut down for the next few weeks. Therefore, JEM will extend the resubmission deadlines for any invited revisions during this time. We also recognize that reviewers might need additional time to assess a manuscript and provide comments. We apologize in advance for any delay our authors may experience during the peer review process.
