In the Results on page 965, parts of two successive sentences were mistakenly omitted. Western blot analysis of types 1, 2, and 3 of the InsP3R revealed that these cells express at the protein level significant amounts of each isoform (Fig. 6). An exact quantification was performed by direct comparison of the levels in each cell line with those measured in RBL-2H3 cells, which contain all three types of InsP3R at a ratio of 10:70:20 (Wilson et al., 1998).
