Updates on the Immune Responses to Tuberculosis and HIV
This collection includes recent studies investigating the adaptive and innate immune response induced by M. tuberculosis and HIV-1 infection. The collection includes studies investigating latent HIV-1 proviruses transcription and the characterization of broadly neutralizing antibodies targeting HIV-1. It also highlights studies identifying TB-induced myofibroblasts as drivers of lung pathology, and the roles of neutrophils and CD4+ T cells in shaping the response to Mtb infection. We would like to use this opportunity to thank our authors, reviewers, and reader for your interest and continued support for JEM.
