JEM Mucosal Immunology 2024
This collection focuses on the interface between the immune system and the environment at mucosal surfaces. The selected articles cover a range of topics including mucosal barrier responses to Cryptosporidium, Yersinia, Candida, and influenza; humoral responses at local sites such as the mouth; and how diet drives pathologic responses in the gut. The collection also features lung research, from alarmin initiation of allergy to recruitment into specific sites in lymph nodes, as well as an overview of the role of Tregs in tissue repair and regeneration.
