PUBLISH YOUR RESEARCH IN JHI
Journal of Human Immunity is the first journal dedicated to research on human inborn errors of immunity (IEI), including primary immunodeficiencies, autoimmunity, autoinflammation, malignancy, and allergy. JHI provides an open access platform for clinical, immunological, and genetic insights—from single-patient case reports to larger studies. Launched in 2025, JHI is the official journal of the International Alliance for Primary Immunodeficiency Societies (IAPIDS) and its member societies.
Scientist Driven
JHI is a nonprofit journal by and for scientists, with editorial decisions determined by active researchers not commercial interests. We invite you to learn more about our Editors, Scientific Advisory Board, Society Editors, and Regional Editors.
Format Neutral and Preprint Friendly
Authors can submit their papers in ANY format, and prior posting to a preprint server won’t affect consideration.
Fast and Fair
We limit rounds of review, and we strive to provide clear, detailed decisions that illustrate what is expected in the revisions. Articles appear online in one to two days after author proofs are returned.
Transfers Welcome
We welcome submissions that include reviewer comments from another journal and offer rapid decisions on transferred manuscripts.
Open Access
Articles are published Gold OA under a CC-BY license and immediately publicly available. Authors always retain copyright if allowed by their institution/funder, and they can self-deposit their published version of record to any institutional, funder, or subject repository.
