Access Model: JHI is a Gold Open Access journal. As such, there are no subscriptions. APCs are applied after editorial acceptance.
Peer Review: Peer review is conducted as a single anonymized process, where the reviewers can see author names, but reviewer names are anonymous to authors and other reviewers. Generally, each manuscript is reviewed by three referees.
Publication Frequency: JHI is published continuously as articles are ready. Published content is compiled into issues released every two months.
