All content published in JHI is published open access under a CC-BY license.

Access	Your published article is immediately publicly available to all.
Funder compliance	RUP deposits your published article to PubMed Central, where it will be immediately publicly available.
Article Processing Charge (APC)	Standard Article APC = $3500 Letter APC = $1000 IAPIDS-affiliated Society Members (APSID, ASID, CIS, ESID, LASID) Article APC = $3000 Letter APC = $800
Page Charges	None.
Fee Exceptions	APCs are automatically waived for corresponding authors from institutions with an RUP Read-and-Publish agreement and from low- or middle-income countries. Inability to pay will not affect the publication of your manuscript. If you are experiencing financial hardship or complications with requirements by your funder, please contact us for more information.

One that happens, RUP will deposit your published article to PubMed Central where it will be immediately publicly available under a CC-BY license.
