Rockefeller University Press Journals Join the Committee on Publication Ethics

Journal of Cell Biology (JCB), Journal of Experimental Medicine (JEM), and Journal of General Physiology(JGP) have been accepted as members of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). COPE provides advice to editors and publishers on all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct. Established in 1997 by a small group of medical journal editors in the United Kingdom, COPE now has over 10,000 members worldwide from all academic fields. The Rockefeller University Press’s representatives to COPE are JCB Executive Editor and Director of Editorial Development Rebecca Alvania, JEM Senior Scientific Editor Thiago Carvalho, and JGP Consulting Editor Lesley Anson.

COPE and RUP journals are both committed to upholding the integrity of the published scientific record. Learn more at publicationethics.org
