Neuroscience Collection 2025
This collection spans a wide variety of neuroscience research, from the adaptive plasticity of sensory neurons to the influence of synaptic architecture on glutamate dynamics within rod photoreceptor synapses. The collection features several articles on the role of voltage-gated sodium channels in pain sensation and their potential as therapeutic targets, as well as studies investigating the regulation of NMDA receptor activation and the alteration of ventral hippocampal projections in depression. The collection has been curated to showcase the diversity of topics and the quality of research published in JGP.
In addition, we are pleased to present a special magazine that contains the abstracts of some of the research articles from this collection, as well as neuroscience research published in other Rockefeller University Press journals. Download the special collection PDF here.
We hope you enjoy reading the collection and welcome your feedback on BlueSky at @jgp.org and X at @JGenPhysiol. To learn more about JGP and to submit your research, please visit our Instructions for Authors or contact the editorial office. Sign up to receive future special collections here.
