Mechanobiology 2023
This collection highlights recent papers on the mechanical properties of cells and tissues, and the application and transmission of forces across scales relevant to cell biology. Papers presented here provide new insights into the mechanobiology of the nucleus and cell division, circadian rhythms, and cell–cell junctions. This collection also includes unprecedented new views into the substructures of focal adhesions, septin filaments, and novel ESCRT scaffolds at adhesions.
