Neuroscience Collection 2024

This collection of recent neuroscience articles covers a broad range of topics, from the structural basis of severe inherited pain syndromes to the effect of channelopathy mutations on the circadian clock. Other featured papers investigate how light shapes the maturation of photoreceptor signaling pathways, the regulation of starburst amacrine cells by distinct cholinergic pathways, the modulation of ion channel deactivation by pH, and more. Also featured are two Viewpoint articles discussing sensory transduction in auditory hair cells and new ways to interpret presynaptic phenotypes of synaptic plasticity. The collection has been curated to showcase the diversity of topics and the quality of research published in JGP.

In addition, we are pleased to present a special magazine that contains the abstracts of some of the research articles from this collection, as well as neuroscience research published in other Rockefeller University Press journals. Download the special collection PDF here.
