Comparing A vs. C, and B vs. D, and E vs. G and F vs. H shows very similar regression coefficients on displacement whether MVRG is performed on displacement and density or displacement alone. At the same time, including the density in the MVRG analysis yields somewhat cleaner results for the displacement regression coefficients (e.g., the dense-periphery analysis in B vs. D). See Table 5 for the number of cells, the number of experimental repeats, and the number of SM tracklets and speckles per ROI used for analysis.
