IFN-lambda moves to the Fibroblasts section, where it interacts with IFNLR1 and IL-10R beta receptors on the cell membrane. This interaction activates ERK and JNK pathways, leading to the production of Tgf-beta. Tgf-beta then moves to the Fibrosis section, where it interacts with TGF-beta receptors on the cell membrane. This interaction activates SMAD2 and SMAD3, leading to the production of alpha-SMA, Fibronectin, and Vimentin, which are involved in the migration and activation of fibroblasts, resulting in fibrosis.
