Figure S2.
Barplots showing predicted cell-type abundance in the capsule, cortex, CMJ, and medulla. Cell abundance is shown as mean percentages of total cells in each region. Controls (n = 8) are shown in gray, and 22q11DS patients (n = 2) are shown in purple. Differences in cell-type abundance were assessed using two-sided Mann–Whitney U tests (* indicates P <0.05). Abbreviations for cell-type annotations are provided in Table S2. Refer to the image caption for details. Each barplot represents a different region: Capsular, Cortex, CMJ, and Medulla. The horizontal axis lists various cell types, and the vertical axis shows the percentage of cells in each region, ranging from 0 to 14 percent. The control group is represented in grey, and the 22q11DS group is represented in purple. Each barplot shows the minimum, maximum, median, lower quartile, and upper quartile values for each cell type. Outliers are indicated by individual points. Notable differences include increased fibroblasts type 2 (Fb 2) and decreased thymic B-cells in 22q11DS patients. A trend towards decreased regulatory T cells (Tregs) in 22q11DS is also noted. Significant differences are marked with an asterisk indicating a p-value less than 0.05.
