Note free movement of Evans blue–labeled plasma proteins into liver and spleen draining lymphatics, likely due to the fenestrated endothelium lining blood vessels in these organs, as well as many leukocytes with lymphocyte morphology draining from the spleen, a secondary lymphoid organ.
