(A) To gain a broad view of transcriptional changes in the late phase of atrophy, 14-day denervated TA muscles were compared with innervated muscles by RNA-seq. Transcripts of several proteasome subunits and one proteasome chaperone were identified, and only nine subunits were significantly induced in denervated compared to innervated muscles (induced subunits shown in green).
