Color-coded correlation matrices for CHA ^x models. The correlation coefficients were calculated from the covariance matrices (see Materials and methods) and plotted by false colors (see legend at the bottom; Benndorf et al., 2022). Few parameters are strongly correlated, either positive or negative. Notably, non-correlated parameters (colored yellow) dominate most for the CNA⁵ and least for the CNA² model.
