This figure shows two representative 3H2O efflux curves with RBC from the same two donors. Again, the linearity of the efflux curves in the semilogarithmic plot agrees with a monoexponentially transport process with one rate coefficient. The diffusional water permeability coefficient, Pd, is 2.3 (SD ± 0.2, n = 3) × 10−3 cm/s (D13) and 2.2 (SD ± 0.3, n = 3) × 10−3 cm/s (D12), respectively.
