RPG enhancer fragments corresponding to the sequences of RpL6, RpL7A, RpL11, RpL17, RpL19, RpS3, RpS10b, RpS18, and RpS27A revealed direct binding by both the full-length Rib protein and the Rib-PSQ DNA binding domain. Arrowheads mark Rib-dependent mobility shifts. All EMSAs were performed twice with identical results.
