Immunocytochemical localization of βENaC in segments S2–S4 of the DCT/CNT of three mice on control Na diets. Tubules from three mice on control diet were dissected and stained with anti-βENaC antibody. Segments S2–S5 showed specific staining. In segments S2–S4, the distribution of ENaC tended to be more apical than in S5, which had a more homogenous intracellular pattern. Scale bar, 7.5 µm.
