Ndel1 is required for deciliation at cell cycle reentry. To evaluate deciliation at the cell cycle reentry, RPE1 cells were incubated in serum-free media from 24 to 72 h after the transfection and then cultured in the presence of 10% serum for 0 or 24 h (Time after serum stimulation). Based on immunostaining of anti–acetylated tubulin (ac-tub.), we measured the length of primary cilia before serum stimulation (for 48 h serum starvation, C).
