Images were taken at a magnification of 40× every 6 s. In all cases, cells were analyzed for 10 min. χ2 test, performed between AX2 and gefQ cells on data of the three categories of lateral pseudopods formed, showed highly significant (P > 0.001) difference between AX2 and gefQ cells in both buffer and a cAMP gradient.
