B cells were settled on bilayers containing anti-IgM as antigen, and responses were visualized by confocal microscopy, IRM, or TIRFM. The responses of the various knockouts are classified by three parameters relative to WT: contact area (3 min), antigen aggregation (10 min), and number of microclusters (3 min).
