The set of parameters of an MC16SM used for simulation of multicellular networks interconnected through electrical synapses formed of GJ channels resembling Cx36 and to assemble Figs. 3 B, 4 (E–G), 5, 6, 7, and 8. In search of minimum gj necessary for synchronization and signal transfer of APs in 1-D and 2-D clusters of neurons (gj,min-synch and gj,min-transf; Fig. 5), we varied the number of GJ channels forming electrical synapses.
