C.B-17 scid (BALB/c) mice were transferred with allogeneic C57BL/6 CD4+CD45RBhiCD25−CD45.1+ cells (induction) along with PBS or anti-Balb iT reg cells (prevention). Control mice were injected twice with PBS (PBS + PBS). Skin manifestations and diarrhea were evaluated 2 and 6 mo later. Grading of skin involvement: A, no involvement; B, involvement of mouth or nose; C, involvement of back. Diarrhea was graded as yes or no. — denotes that this mouse group did not survive.
