Order distribution of the flow regulation parameters. Following Liao and Kuo (1997), the figures in parentheses for Kτ were adjusted to account for the presence of hemoglobin in vivo by increasing them ∼10 times to achieve physiological levels of flow perfusion. Parameters for vessel orders 1 and 10 are extrapolated assuming they have no flow response.
