The SL of the muscle fiber was set to 2.3 µm. b and c were estimated as described previously (Ford et al., 2010). ktr was estimated using a rapid slack/restretch protocol (Brenner and Eisenberg, 1986). Number of determinations was at least 11 for each group. Values are reported as mean ± SEM.
