The ratio of eIF4AIII to BrUTP staining intensities was calculated for each of the BR genes, respectively. The geometric means (BR1, BR2, and BR3 on five independently analyzed chromosomes) and the 95% confidence intervals are shown. The individual measurements are presented in Table S1. Analysis of variance on log-transformed ratios and subsequent pairwise Tukey test showed significant differences between BR1 and BR3 (PTukey = 0.02) and between BR2 and BR3 (PTukey = 0.006), but not between BR1 and BR2 (PTukey = 0.699).
