Some proteins that colocalize to P bodies, such as the CAR-1 orthologues Scd6 (yeast) and RAP55 (human), are also not included, as they have not been biochemically identified to interact with the corresponding CGH-1 orthologue. CPEB, cytoplasmic polyadenylation element–binding protein; ?, unambiguous orthologue exists, but no information is available. −, no clear orthologue described.
