Single mutants of Δ503-cdc12 were 93% viable on tetrad plates in this group of crosses. Ts single mutants were more viable after backcrossing; see Table 1.

Tested by streaking wt, single mutants, and double mutant on YE5S plates and incubating at temperatures from 25 to 36°C. The Δ503-cdc12 single mutants grew normally from 25 to 36°C.

The only viable double mutant isolated likely had a suppressor based on cell morphology at 36°C.
