Take Advantage of the Read-and-Publish Agreement between Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and RUP Journals

The Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory unlimited Read-and-Publish transformative agreement with Rockefeller University Press (RUP) covers two of RUP's hybrid journals: Journal of Cell Biology (JCB) and Journal of Experimental Medicine (JEM). The agreement runs from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2026.

How researchers immediately benefit from the agreement:

• Read: Unlimited access to all content published in JCB and JEM immediately after publication.
• Publish: 100% coverage of the Immediate Open Access fees on any accepted manuscript when the primary corresponding author is based at a participating institution. There is no limit to the number of articles that may be published as a part of the deal.

Open Access research articles are published under a CC-BY license, directly deposited to PubMed Central (PMC) and subsequently to Europe PMC, and archived in LOCKSS/CLOCKSS.

How authors can take advantage of the agreement:

• The primary corresponding author must be affiliated with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and the author must publish under this affiliation.
• The article must be accepted between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2026.
• Authors who publish in RUP journals always retain copyright ownership or have the ability to set the copyright owner as their institutions when required.
