Call for Papers: Myofilament Function 2022

In connection with the 2022 Myofilament Meeting, JGP invites you to submit papers on the topic of Myofilament Function to be published throughout the year and included in a special issue of JGP. Along with cutting-edge research articles that focus on fundamental insights into the structure and function of thin, thick, and titin filaments in cardiac, skeletal, and smooth muscles, the issue will focus on myofilament-based muscle diseases.

The issue will be edited by Christine Cremo, JGP Editorial Advisory Board member and Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine; Henk Granzier, JGP Associate Editor and Professor of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson; and Richard Moss, JGP Editorial Advisory Board member and Professor Emeritus of Cell and Regenerative Biology, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Submissions of Research Articles, Communications, Hypotheses, or Methods and Approaches are specifically invited, in any format.

Submit by the deadline of November 1, 2022, and choose either a full waiver of the $2,000 publication fee (provides perpetual open access 6 months after publication) or receive a $2,000 discount on JGP's Open Access fee.

Please note that the special issue will be published online as papers are accepted, minimizing the time from acceptance to publication.

During the submission process, please indicate that this is for the Myofilament Function special issue.
