Call for Papers: Myofilament Function
JGP invites you to submit papers on the topic of Myofilament Function by September 30, 2020 to be included in a special issue of JGP. The issue will be edited by Christine Cremo, JGP Editorial Advisory Board member and Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine; Henk Granzier, JGP Associate Editor and Professor in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson; and Richard L. Moss, JGP Editorial Advisory Board member and Senior Associate Dean for Basic Research, Biotechnology, and Graduate Studies at the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health.
Along with cutting-edge research articles that focus on fundamental insights into the structure and function of thin, thick, and titin filaments in cardiac, skeletal, and smooth muscles, this special collection will also focus on myofilament-based muscle diseases.
Submissions of Research Articles, Communications, Hypotheses, or Methods and Approaches are specifically invited, in any format. JGP will waive the publication fee of $2,000 for these specific dedicated issue articles if submitted by the deadline of September 30, 2020.
