Plasma cells are abnormally located within the periarteriolar lymphoid sheaths (T cell area) of mouse spleen in TNF-R1–deficient mice and this phenotype is not restored after bone marrow reconstitution. The red fluorescence indicates IgM-positive cells and the green fluorescence reveals the Thy1-positive T cells. The bright red labeled–cells within the green areas are plasma cells.
