A collection uncovering the roles of lysophospholipids and other signaling lipids in immunity, from modulating B cell and T cell function to mediating pathogen recognition. Lipid molecules represent major structural elements of the cell as well as fuel reserves. However, lipids are also signaling molecules able to affect immune cell activity and even trigger cell death.
